OEM tech expert Jay Tatro becomes VP of Operations at the San Jose-based hardware integrator

CCIntegration, the fastest-growing OEM integration company in the U.S., is proud to welcome Jay Tatro as the organization’s new VP of Operations. He assumes the role from Michael Johnson, who was elevated last month to the position of CIO. Mr. Tatro joins two other former Dell OEM executives, Ron Pugh—who became President of CCI in March—and David Pennington, who came aboard the leadership team of CCI as VP of Solutions Engineering at the beginning of 2021. Mr. Tatro’s arrival reinforces CCI’s strength of leadership and growing domination of the integration partner space as they continue to provide the capabilities, creativity and customer focus vital to their clients’ success.

Mr. Tatro brings nearly three decades of practical experience in a variety of technology roles—including 22 years at Dell Technologies. Most recently responsible for Operations Leadership of the OEM Americas unit, he was recognized as a key contributor to the OEM Solutions growth and long-term success. CCI will leverage his skills not only in business management, but also to ensure that the organization keeps building upon its unique value proposition of deep industry expertise, customer-centricity, and a singular focus on the integration business.

With past roles spanning everything from sales, sales operations, and program management to business development, product quality, and strategic planning, Mr. Tatro will be a key contributor at CCI. “I’m looking forward to applying my diverse experience to elevate the unique, customized approach that has propelled CCI’s explosive growth and cemented customer loyalty,” he says. “Being asked to join such an outstanding management team—with some of the most experienced executives in the OEM business—is an incredible opportunity.”

CEO Anna Hung is enthusiastic about what Tatro’s hire means for CCI. “A woman-owned business is unusual in this space,” she explains. “The ability to attract industry experts like Jay to our organization is a testament to just how well we are fulfilling our mission of providing OEMs and software companies with a true partner who can design, manufacture, support and globally fulfill their system platform-based products.”

Ron Pugh, President of CCI and Mr. Tatro’s former colleague at Dell Technologies, is equally excited about what Tatro brings to the table for both the company and its clients. “Jay’s knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, process control, and customer quality make him an ideal addition to CCI’s Team,” he explains. “His knowledge and relationships will allow CCI to continue building one of the most dynamic, customer-centric OEM manufacturing and services teams in the industry.”
