Medical products have stringent and unique requirement for long-life, reliability, performance, and regulatory certifications. Safety is of the highest concern when making devices that interface directly with the human body, therefore the ability to produce products that are in compliance with UL 60601 and the production requirements of ISO 13485 are essential. The diagnostic and treatment devices currently marketed and in development often require years of research and development and certification to the regulatory requirements for international, domestic, and local requirements before they enter the market. Once approved the product is produced and marketed for 10-15 years of active life. After approval the design is frozen as part of an effort to minimize the additional or re-certification time and cost. The result of this process is products that have active lives well beyond the normal life cycle of OEM computer / server and components. CCIntegration specializes in the development and delivery of products to medical companies and also provides the depot maintenance and support for these devices.

CCIntegration has been producing and servicing medical products since 1994. Some of the products first designed and produced are still supported today. In addition, CCIntegration works with customers to carefully and clearly define their requirements, to design suitable hardware from available technologies that can support the life cycle required. CCIntegration utilizes off-the-shelf components where possible to minimize cost but at the same time takes advantage its full mechanical and electrical design engineering teams to produce custom chassis, electronics, and branded solutions to meet our customer’s needs. The available expertise can produce products that are without fans, are sealed to work in operating rooms and high oxygen environments, and manage the thermal and acoustic properties required in certain medical diagnostic and treatment environments. Whether the devices are based on current generation single board computers (SBCs) or require complete custom electronics that utilize state of the art control and signal processing and computing power, CCIntegration can provide hardware and designs in short time frames and at competitive prices.
