Managing hardware assets that are used for the evaluation of software appliances is a complex and challenging process.  CCIntegration has internally developed a set of B2B software tools that simplifies the process, generates automatic e-mail notifications, custom reports, and web based tracking that shows the status of products in evaluation at customers, in transit, in the configuration of new or refurbished hardware in the factory process, and in the finished goods inventory.  When the evaluation orders are received from the CCIntegration customer the product is pulled from stock, processed, and shipped globally and direct to end-user customers.  Rather than allocate internal resources to purchase, process, and manage evaluation hardware appliances, CCIntegration provides all these functions for your organization at a flat rate per unit /service-function price that insures control and containment of evaluation hardware asset and services cost.  The complexity of hardware configuration, logistics, warehousing, processing returns, refurbishing and re-utilization of assets accomplished using shared resources and infrastructure dedicated the efficient process of Evaluation Management.

Overview of Evaluation Management Proposition

CCIntegration provides the following services to assist software companies who offer evaluation hardware loaded with their software image.  The hardware is purchased from the designated Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), the hardware is re-rebranded by changing the color and texture of the hardware skins, by adding custom logos, bezels, and labels as defined in the agreed Statement-of-Work (SOW), the software image is loaded, the appliance is tested, kited with proper accessories (including return shipping labels), packaged in branded packaging or hard shell recyclable cases, warehoused, and shipped on demand.  If the unit is not purchased by the end-customer or when the latest generation product is received, the evaluation product is re-packed by the customer in the original packaging (instructions supplied) and returned to CCIntegration.  CCIntegration receives the return product, securely erases all customer data and the originally installed image, tests unit warehouses the functional unit.  All returned product is fully refurbished prior to re-utilization – this includes repair and 100% cosmetic refurbishment to an “As-New” condition.
