The B2B solution developed by CCIntegration focus on delivering only the key functions needed in a streamlined interface that is intuitive in its structure and use.  Starting with the definition of requirements and building a Bill-of-Material (BOM) for the hardware needed, then adding the ability to track the Service Tag ID of the hardware, it serial number, the serial number component systems (disk drives, main boards, memory, and other serialized accessories), adding the firmware revision levels, software license ID and revision levels, then tying these to the sales order number, invoice, and hardware purchase orders, the system is able to then track inventory globally (in physical and virtual warehouses), while in transit, and to the location where it is delivered.  This ability to track and manage assets while managing the activation and de-activation of software license ID, has become a key differentiator among integration service suppliers.  It provides unprecedented asset management and cost controls.  The net result in knowing where the assets are can allow easy up-date of change orders, remote diagnostics and up-dates, while greatly simplifying the process of selling, tracking, and managing software appliances.  In addition, the solution allows for OEM service dispatch, management of warranty (OEM, CCIntegration, and CCIntegration's customer), provides Return Material Management (RMA), depot repair, product refurbishment, and re-utilization of hardware assets which is key to managing the Evaluation of Software Appliances by end-user customers.
